Privacy Policy

Simple LLMS ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how our Shopify app collects, uses, and protects your information.

Data Collection

Our Shopify app accesses the following data from your Shopify store to generate llms.txt files:

• Products - Title, description, handle, URL (read-only)
• Collections - Title, description, handle (read-only)
• Pages - Title, content, handle (read-only)
• Blog Articles - Title, content, handle (read-only)

Data Storage

We store the following data on Cloudflare infrastructure:

• Shop domain and session data - Required for Shopify authentication (stored in Cloudflare D1)
• Content preferences - Which items to include/exclude in your llms.txt files (Cloudflare D1)
• Business DNA / brand information - Optional brand details you provide to customize your llms.txt output (Cloudflare D1)
• AI-generated content - Content generated using AI features, if you choose to use them (Cloudflare D1)
• Cached llms.txt files - Generated files cached for performance (Cloudflare R2 storage)
• Analytics data - Visitor analytics for AI bot visits to your llms.txt files, including:
  • IP addresses (for country-level geolocation)
  • User agent strings (for AI visitor classification)
  • Country of origin
  • AI bot classification (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini)
  • Visit timestamps

AI Features

Our app includes optional AI content generation features. If you use these features:

• Your store content may be sent to third-party AI APIs (e.g., Cloudflare Workers AI or a provider you configure) to generate descriptions
• AI-generated content is stored in our database and can be edited or deleted by you at any time
• You control whether to use AI features and which AI provider to use

What We Don't Collect

• Customer personal information
• Order data
• Payment information
• Customer email addresses

Data Sharing

We never sell or share your information with third parties. Data is only sent to:

• Shopify - For authentication and content access via their API
• Third-party AI providers - Only if you opt in to AI content generation features

Data Retention

Your data is stored only while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app deletes all associated data, including all database records and cached files.

Security

All data is transmitted securely via HTTPS and stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database and R2 storage). Webhook requests are verified using HMAC-SHA256 signatures.
