Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Simple LLMS Shopify app ("App", "Service"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

The Simple LLMS App creates structured text files (llms.txt and llms-full.txt) for your Shopify store, making your store content discoverable by AI assistants and large language models. The App:

• Reads your store's products, collections, pages, and blog articles via the Shopify API
• Generates formatted text files following the llms.txt specification
• Serves these files via your store's URL
• Optionally provides AI-powered content generation features
• Tracks AI bot visits to your llms.txt files for analytics

2. Data Access and Usage

By installing the App, you grant us read access to your store's products, collections, pages, and blog articles through the Shopify API. We also request write access to content for creating URL redirects. We use this data solely to generate your llms.txt files and provide the App's functionality.

3. AI Content Generation

The App includes optional AI content generation features. By using these features:

• You acknowledge that content is generated by artificial intelligence and may require review
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before it is published
• AI-generated content may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Cloudflare Workers AI)
• We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your store
• Review and verify any content generated by the App before publication
• Comply with all applicable laws and Shopify's terms of service
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all your store content
• AI-generated content created through the App belongs to you
• The App itself and its underlying technology remain our intellectual property

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Any inaccuracies in generated content
• Loss of data or business interruption
• Issues arising from third-party AI provider outages
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

7. Data Deletion

Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all your data from our systems, including stored content, settings, analytics, and cached files.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
